Emergencies

Hopefully all will go smoothly during your stay and you will not need any of this information. But just in case, here is information on how to deal with emergencies.

Immediate Emergencies

In a serious emergency that requires police, fire department, or immediate medical treatment, dial 911. It will work even on a phone without a sim card.

Medical Needs

If you need a doctor but not an ambulance, go to either the emergency room or the urgent care. The closest emergency room is Good Samaritan Medical Center at 1309 N. Flagler Dr. There is also a children's hospital and children's emergency room very close at St. Mary's Medical Center, 901 45th St.

Urgent care is great for issues that need a doctor but are not complicated. Stitches, sprained ankles, fevers, coughs, issues like that can be handled at urgent care for less money than a hospital. And you don't need an appointment, just walk in any time they are open. There is an urgent care at 4714 Okeechobee Blvd and one at 2007 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.

Vehicle Problems

If the car breaks down on the I-95 and you are stranded, you can call the Road Rangers for free by dialing *347.

If you have car trouble but are not stranded, contact us and we will help get things taken care of. If for some reason you need a mechanic but cannot reach us, our mechanic's name is Jeremy Gast and his website is https://www.facebook.com/JMMobileMechanic/. He comes to the house to do the work.
